I have been able to list all the Jar candles that I know of and their uses here.
Now why are they called Jar Candles, well these are glass enclosed candles, that come either in one color or will have on the glass enclosure an image either silk screened or a paper image glued to the glass.
Each are dedicated to a specific function, but remember just as with the plain or figure candles they are inactive until you have dressed and activated them.
Many of these are quiet common, but not all spiritual supply shops carry all of them. One company called Wisdom products has been know to carry most of them and can be mail ordered to you. But it's always best to order no less than 6 of them to make the shipping and handling worth while.
On an average these candles will burn continuously for 5 to 7 days. But in some instances they may burn more quickly, in some cases not at all.
This depends upon what magical workings may be working against your wish or desire, if that be the case then divination as to what to do next would be required.
In future posts I will list the meanings of candle actions, what they do and what should you do if unusual things should happen.
As a word of warning, all candles including Jar Candles should be burned in a safe place where animals and children cannot touch or knock them over. And far away from any flammable curtains or other things. Some people will have these candles supported in a bowl of sand to avoid them falling over. Because candles get hot keep them on a heat resistant surface, do not have any cloth near them, and if you have an altar always have a fire extinguisher close by. Trust me it's worth it's weight in gold.
