Needing to clear out my comments sections~~~

Hello Everyone,  This is Ms. Q,

I've noticed that in a number of my blog posts my comments section is becoming overwhelming, and over long, and I seem to be repeating answers to variations on the same questions.

Over the next few months I will be deleting older comments, anything before 2016 in those posts in which the comments section are overwhelming.

What I will do is save the questions and my replies and make them as part of new posts-----with the exception of those that are very personal in nature, those will not be posted in the interests of privacy.

In some cases I can make the question more general in nature so that everyone can benefit from the reply.

So if you did post a comment and have not checked to see if I've answered it, please do so, because once anything before 2016 is gone---it will be gone.

Later on towards the end of 2016 I will start to delete any comments that are more than 6 months old and apply the same principal,  this is in an effort to save some band width.

Also if it is a comment that applies specifically to you I strongly suggest that you print it out so you will have hard copy to refer to, in case you need to refresh your memory.

I will still continue to answer comments or questions as my time permits, as long as there is breath in my body and my mind still functions clearly.

Bright Blessings to Everyone,
Ms. Q

    1. Dear Grateful,

And many blessing to you too.

I really cannot tell you which Orisha “crowns you” because that needs to be done by a Babalao of the Ifa religion of the Yoruba people, even I didn’t know which one crowned me and the Babalao was getting worried because he began to think it was one of the alternate aspects of the Orisha’s, until it was confirmed that it was Chango, or St. Barbara.

Even though I had received my eleckes (necklaces) I did not go through with the rest of the process because the spirits of my ancestors said not to. And that was confirmed by the Babalao, although I keep them in a safe and protected place, they are not play things.

You need to go to a Botanica in which the owner is either a Iyalawo (mother of divination) or a Babalao (father of divination) or are guided by one of them if they practice Santeria which is a form of the Ifa religion. That’s very important.

A publishing company Original Publications, puts out booklets written by Baba Raul Canizares, each booklet describes each Orisha and their different “Paths” or aspects, because sometimes we can be “crowned” by an Orisha but it will be of their path and not the Major Orisha, for example we might be “crowned” by Eshu ( Eleggua, Elegbara) but it could be Eshu Marimaye ---the Doorman of the cemetery or Eshu Merin Ba Aye—the Owner of the crossroads. That is why having a reading done by a Baba is important.

The web site for Original Publications is --- www.occult1.com/ they call themselves Occult1 now. Check their books section, at the top that says category index click Santeria/Orisha books, it gives an explanation and a selection of their publications. I recommend Santeria the religion by Migene Gonzalez-Wippler and the individual booklets by Baba Raul Canizares so you’ll understand them better, it is not a faith or belief to take lightly.

I did a one card reading on your question and the card I drew is Five of Cups which signals Disappointment. It’s Meaning is about Avoidance · Detachment · Loss · possibly new hope · Regret: Wishing for what might have been. Being crippled by sadness, grief, and vain regret. Indecision brought on by the feeling that you made the wrong choice. Ignoring what you still have. May suggest an opportunity, partnership, or marriage, but one that falls below expectations.

This card is a dark omen, it’s bound your emotions, and brings with it a warning of loss and disappointment. Expect a setback in your life, almost certainly emotional. While this may be emotional, it may be a goal you are particularly invested in, emotionally, it might also refer to events of the past which continue to cause regret or heartache. The only solution is optimism; this too shall pass.

The urge to try something new is a result of a disappointment or dissatisfaction you have experienced. Your current sadness is an expression of these failed expectations. Explore any alternatives paths that you discover. But if you are avoiding the truth, it will be difficult to create any sustainable satisfaction. An error on your part will lead you to a regretful situation. Be ready to repair the damage you have caused and more importantly, to forgive yourself.

The Five of Cups is a regretful card full of sadness, and despondency. It’s a sign of not appreciating what you have in life or avoidance of something yet to come. The disappointment/discontent associated with this card provides an answer of no to your question.

At this moment in time, its best to not push the idea of a relationship or baby, you are still unsettled with questions in your life, don’t give up the idea but it seems as if the Divine Presence has something else in mind for you, once you are settled mentally, spiritually and emotionally will you know your true path in life. But at this time having children is not it. I wish I could offer you something more positive but it seems you may be going on a different life path than you plan, keep your options open.

      Bright Blessings,
      Ms. Q

    1. Dear Grateful,

Well I had to do a bit of research as this is in regards to Animal symbolism and Totems and your mantis friend had a message to deliver to you.

Looking through several books (I’m not really up on Animal Totems or Symbolism) in the Realms of Animal Symbolism the mantis comes to us when we need peace, quiet and calm in our lives.

Usually the mantis makes an appearance when we've flooded our lives with so much business, activity, or chaos that we can no longer hear the still small voice within us because of the external din we've created.

If you’ve been observing this creature for any length of time you can see why the symbolism of the praying mantis deals with stillness and patience. The mantis takes her time, and lives her life at her own silent pace.

The Praying Mantis symbolizes Stillness, Awareness, Creativity, Patience, Mindfulness, Calm, Balance and Intuition.

These traits have lead the mantis to be a symbol of meditation and contemplation. In China, the mantis has long been honored for her mindful movements.

The mantis never makes a move unless she is 100% positive it is the right thing for her to do.

This is a message to us to contemplate and be sure our minds and souls all agree together about the choices we are making in our lives.

In most cultures the mantis is a symbol of stillness. As such, she is an ambassador from the animal kingdom giving testimony to the benefits of meditation, and calming our minds.

An appearance from the mantis is a message to be still, go within, meditate, get quite and reach a place of calm. It may also a sign for you to be more mindful of the choices you are making and confirm that these choices are all correct.

The Praying Mantis makes an appearance when we’ve flooded our lives with so much business, activity, or chaos that we can no longer hear the still small voice within us.

Taking a step back and some simple meditation would be in order here because the external din we’ve created needs to be quieted so that we can come back to our own truth. The Praying Mantis always comes to us when we need peace, quiet and calm in our lives.

It is said that the Praying Mantis is the oldest symbol of God ~ the African Bushman’s manifestation of God come to Earth, “the voice of the infinite in the small,” in essence a divine messenger.

When a Praying Mantis is seen, diviners try to determine the current message. “Mantis” is the Greek word for “prophet” or “seer,” a being with spiritual or mystical powers.

Meet the eye of a Mantis and feel the presence of God. It symbolizes the seeking of spirituality to further its evolution and become more of what it is meant to be it is a yearning for all things spiritual.

If things have been too busy for you, too overwhelming, the Mantis is saying slow down, be calm and enjoy all the free wonderful things around you, get away from the noise and listen to nature, it is the voice of God.

It is a very lucky symbol to come into your life, my dear, so listen to its message.

      Bright Blessings,
      Ms. Q
