Do Reconciliation Spells work?

“Dear Ms. Q,

My boyfriend broke up with me----my husband left me for another woman she’s doing a spell on him-----I am hoping to get back with the father of my child, but he’s with another woman----
Can I do a reconciliation spell to get him back?”

******

Dear Readers,  This is Ms. Q,

I get (very frequently) women, ex-girlfriends, jilted lovers, abandon wives,  single girl friends with a child, all pleading with me to help them reconcile with their boyfriend, husband, ex-lover, father of their child,  but the most direct question asked of me is this-----

“Dear Ms. Q,

Do Reconciliation Spells work?”

I can only answer in one way-----MAYBE.

Yes Dear Readers, Maybe.

I’m first going to do a warning, if you come across someone who says “I can do Reconciliation work and make it happen” and charge you a lot of money,   Run, don’t walk to the nearest exit.  You’ll only be wasting your money.

Any True reputable practioner, root worker, psychic, gypsy fortune teller will tell you reconciliation spells are extremely difficult and frequently fail.    Now that is not to say that they always fail, but most of them do.

And for these basic reasons:

When people break-up there are good reasons why they become ex’s and your efforts are better spent on finding a better partner. But only you can decide if your new ex is worth the time and effort for this work.  80 percent of the time, it’s not.

Usually in my experience Reconciliation is the most difficult to accomplish. The reasons for failure include: left over anger on the part of either party, total apathy on the part of the desired party, and/or a change of heart by the person doing the spell when they remember why they broke up and didn't want that person's love after all because the problems that led to the original breakup remain even after the reconciliation takes effect.

Most root workers including Cat Yronwood and others avoid doing this kind of work because of the limited success---- As posted by Lukianos on a forum:

“Reconciliation work is, indeed, highly varied (How long has the person been gone? Why did the person leave? Is there another partner(s) in the picture? Children? Etc.), and often comes bundled with lots of drama, conflicting emotions, and changing stories as new details come to light in the case. In addition, each day that passes diminishes the likelihood for a successful reconciliation, even with intensive spell-work by an experienced practitioner--if it's been more than a month (especially if the relationship is not of long standing), the prospects aren't good.

So, we have a combination of:
1) often complicated cases (and often with salient details omitted for one reason or another),

2) clients who may actually be more interested in revenge than in loving reconciliation, and who may actually sabotage the work being done, or, if the lost partner does come back in response to the spell work, may drive the partner away again by picking fights, etc.,

3) a limited time frame where work is likely to have a chance of success, which in turn leads to

4) a limited overall success rate for reconciliation work, in general.

All in all, a difficult type of work to make a career out of, unless one has an exceptionally high tolerance for both drama and failure, and a low need for providing effective and satisfactory services to one's clients. It is far, far easier to specialize in drawing new love for clients.

For these reasons (and more besides), relatively few root workers…. will do reconciliation work for hire (despite the high demand for it). That is not to say that there aren't plenty of folks out there who will happily take money from the love-lorn in return for "reconciliation work", but we are, for the purposes of this discussion, limiting ourselves to honest and ethical practitioners of root work.”

This is so true,  that is why I will not do reconciliation spells or rituals, but instead suggest the client do it  but I also include a time line to find out if it will happen because most of the time, when a client asks me for help the ex has been out of the picture or relationship for some time.

And if the ex does not come back with in the first month, the chances of bringing the ex back start going down, down, down.

So if you have a breakup, don’t waste time Start a Honey Jar immediately,  to keep him/her thinking about you maybe even wishing for you,  later once you get your head back together after you’re through burning his clothes or bleaching her dresses,  (both things not good to do, it could result in a law suit),  then you can start doing a break up spell between your ex and their new lover.    But it is important to do that Honey jar to keep him sweet and thinking about you and in attune with your love vibe, otherwise all is lost.

But you have to remember the thing with this type of work is you might be working on your ex for a long time. You have to decide if your ex is worth the effort, or you would rather find another lover. I know of people who have been working on their partners, since they met and have to keep working on them to keep them under control. That is exhausting and not good energy wise because continuous magical work is needed to keep those relationships going and leaves you little energy for anything else.

With this then the reconciliation work is continuous and if the partners were not compatible to begin with then it’s only  magic that holds the relationships together not real love and compatibility  it is not an ideal love relationship,  and there for you have to ask yourself is it really worth all that expense and energy.

Before I met my husband I had been in love multiple times and even worked reconciliation magic and some of it worked but then I discovered when I was away from my ex (or ex’s) that I really was better off, so I’d then do a cut and release spell (sometimes called Cut and Clear), and get that guy right out of my hair.

So if you have a fight and think you need a Reconciliation, quickly do first a Honey Jar to hold things together for the time being, then go to a reputable practitioner and have a reading done to see if a Reconciliation spell will be shown as the right thing to do through a reading. Ideally, the reading will indicate a green light for the conjure work and the work will succeed.

But if the person is not right for you, a reading will usually reveal this -- and also reveal that doing a Reconciliation spell will not work or bring the desired results.

Now I have done this and I’ve turned down cases. When that happens, the client will seek out another reader, and if they are not happy with the reading then another until they met one who will be happy to take their money but produce nothing.

Sadly I’ve had clients who refused to believe the reading. This is why so many reader-workers are reluctant to deal with Reconciliation cases -- no matter how hopeless the reading tells us things are, a certain percentage of clients will INSIST that we "do something” when it’s really better that they move on, and heal from the emotional bruises and if need be get a lawyer (in the case of marriage or child support)

And I have had clients who come back to me and say “You were right.  Now what do I do?   I really wish they’d realize that before they waste their money.

But  that’s not to say that it can’t happen, sometimes it can, and I have here a couple of reconciliation spells that have been around for a long time that seem to work.

Here’s one that Mrs. Byrd used when her husband was stepping out with a, as she called her “High Flying woman”

Write the full name of the person you want to attract, nine times.

Rotate the paper 90 degrees and write your name at the top of another name nine times so you cross it. Cut the paper in the shape of a heart. Fold this paper heart (always bending toward you), to attract the person to you. Fold it three times.

Take a small glass bottle that you've filled three-fourths with a sweetener (such as honey, syrup for pancakes, Karo or corn syrup). Put the paper in the syrup. Add a little sugar to it. Close the bottle and place it near a stove or a heater, and leave to warm and moisten. This will turn the mutual love.

When you have finished with this spell of reconciliation, if you want to him stay close, bury the bottle in your backyard.

To Bring Back a Lover

Add nine drops of Van-Van oil and a bit of sugar to a cup of water. Write the name of your former lover nine times in a paper, with red ink. Completely soak the paper in the Van-Van, sugar and water mixture. This will attract your ex-lover back to home, and will stay forever.

Homemade Spell for couple reconciliation

Take a plate of pewter or tin or a piece of tin metal, write the Psalm 85 on the back of this with the name of your loved one. Put it in a secret place in the House and read Psalm 85 out loud. Your loved one should return.

But this should be done soon after your ex has left and you’ve also started your honey jar.

Now I do give a time line to my clients when they do a reconciliation spell on their own, if the ex does not come back within 4 to 8 weeks, then your ex is not coming back and to move on, in the case of those who are married or have a child, a letter from your lawyer usually will produce results, some men will come back, some will throw hissy-fits, and some will accept the inevitable.

But if they throw hissy-fits then light a “Just Judge” candle to win your court case, and it will keep them on the straight and narrow.

Bright Blessings,
Ms. Q

  1. Hello Ms. Q,
I have a question regarding a honey jar. So, I just broke up with my ex bf, almost about a month now but we are still keep in touch. Sometimes he send me a postive attitude like 'I miss you, I still love you' but other time it's just a friendly message. So that's why I decided to make my own honey jar. (Yes, of course I am hoping that we will getting back together since I'm pregnant :))

I live in southern asia, where we have this limited access of herbs. So all I have for my honey jar is honey, cinnamon powder, rose petals, sugar, ginger, rosemary, picture of him and me. I want to make this honey jar on Friday (as in today) but I had a second thought since I feel I don't have enough ingredients for it. Also, I don't have any reconcilation or come back to me oil to dress the candles. I wish I knew how to make my own oil dressing.

Is it okay to continue making the honey jar with only these materials?

    1. Dear Alice,

      You can.

On the oil if you have either olive oil or safflower oil (but not peanut oil) put into that rose petals, jasmine flowers, and Sandalwood powder.

Shake well, pray over it for him to come back to you as you are having a baby.

Then use that oil to anoint your candles. You don't need to make much of it just a few drams, I've done this in a pinch when my cupboard is low on supplies.

But be careful of him swinging back and forth in his sentiments, I can't help but feel that he might have someone else in his life.

I did a one card reading for you and I was the 4 of Pentacles. Which means you're holding onto things tightly, which could back fire on you.

You also are now allowing yourself to expand mentally in other areas such as business, because you could be making money such as investing. If you stopped going to school, go back to school. Learn or major in business. You can do that even after having a baby.

Will he come back? Tarot only says maybe. It depends on what he has going on. Learn to be independent it will be healthier for you and the baby.

      Bright Blessings,
      Ms. Q

    2. Dearest Queen,

May I have your assistance in interpretation?
Placed were two small candles in metal/tin. I carved out a name on one candle and carved 'Come to Me' on the second candle. Both were red (passionate lust, now doesn't colors make things just) and had patchouli oil on each, as did my petitions placed into the flames. Both flames were high, of being of interest(I hereby abbreviate it to b.o.i.) is a skinny tall flame and Come to Me had a large, soft ivory flame, with (I thought I saw) a flame coming out of its wax to join, thus making it large.
At the end, b.o.i.'s tin was still burning on its petition, may it be out of wax. It had a light, very thin black soot on the outside and without scrutiny, I first thought there's nothing. Inside held a coffee color black soot on top, 40-50 percent, slightly starting to drip, but overmost clean bottom. This burned out first.
The 'Come to Me' candle is my major concern. On the outside, black soot forms an unpleasant drama face (no drama mask); disappointed, down which somewhat changes into a *gasp* expression, almost like The Scream. Inside of the tin held a dark black soot circle topping, with lines of black soot dripping down like it's circle of bleeding. There is a black soot spot on the bottom, maybe fit by cause of tin's mold. While burning, 'Come to Me's wax approached to connect with b.o.i.'s tin's frame of wax left of it. The wax was thin and scattered, one incomprehensible mess. Rest of waxes burned clean inside metals. Not to forget, I here say that both petitions said, "After these candles light, _______________ will come another night, Keep _____ in my sight, And let ____ not take flight." So they were indeed steered towards the same intention.
My serious concern goes to the 'Come to Me' candle. With it lies a pessimistic prediction or one of hardship in b.o.i.'s return. I fancy a granted return, in that I'll make a second impression for b.o.i.'s reconsideration (in keeping me around). But the candle looks so... dark. I didn't see this coming and can't easily brush it aside as hogwash.
So if you are willing to end what's thrilling, I request the Queen's clarification through interpretation. I want to know what I did sow. Afer all, what more do I want back than whose presence I lack?
Now not to say that I am tangled in distress, my emotions for each day forward are less, but I fight to once more hold, dismissing that the ending's told.
Things cannot end before its possibility to mend.
So however my spells unfold, I want to stay gold.

I am a beginning pyropractitioner. Regardless of my presently focused specialization, I am looking for means to extend my knowledge in relevant topics. I find your blog a welcoming library. I make spells in inspiration of what I know, but my spells will evolve through what there is yet to know. I'd rather leave a trail than to follow one. Clichè it may be, but many so agree, especially when letting creativity fly free.

    3. Dearest Queen,

Be it possible I have better luck in recast. Though the formerly mentioned appears gloomy, t'is different now. Two candles burned decently. I prefer to fold my little petitions and place them in a tent stand afront (bending) wicks, which I think would and has made strong, single flames. The b.o.i. 's flame was high with flickering at the bottom for a short time and did not have a light circle of soot outside, but rather 65 percent clean, leave the remaining exterior with partial black soot with three drippings of coffee colour soot. Inside held a black-to-coffee-coloured outline topping. By the way, the black soot on the outside could be caused by the parchment that is extended towards and at that edge. It matches up. As for the second candle, east of it, carved 'Come to Me', it also had a high flame that at sometime somewhat separated into two flames before joining back into a strong single. The first petition (for this candle) that I added fell off unto the tile, which I put out with coffee creamer, and made another of the same petition to add into its candlelight. The outside of the 'Come to Me' candle looks pretty clean, except for bits of blackened milk powder on one side. There is a black soot circle topping inside, beginning to drip a couple or a few times, but not thay noticeable. I would say that both burnt endings come similar, but the metals are, for the most part, clean. So may this alter the course of yesterday's casting; if this is how it'll be, be it a relief. Not to worry if I might have less to worry. I am aware of hidden hinderances there, of these to beware. Each candlelight was pleasant in sight and through petition, did fight. The first candle, carved with being of interest's name, burned out first.

    4. Dear Line,

This is in response to your first comment~~~~ My response to your 2nd comment is posted below~~~

First I need to ask you did you do a divination (i.e. by Tarot cards) to see if it would work to bring your target back to you? In doing spell work for reconciliation or love, it’s best to see if it is worthwhile doing it or putting out that energy.

This is because this is a form of manipulation that I am not fond of, having gone through this experience many years ago (after my Granny and Mom warned me not to), it’s one thing in terms of health and well-being or protection, but unless it is meant to happen, one could come to disappointment.

That is why doing a divination first is vital to doing the workings.

The flames indicate that spirits are hearing you but although tall there does not appear to be enough energy involved, almost (from your description) as if it is seeking energy. The soot indicated blockage and although it was clean at the bottom if you are using tea lights it didn’t burn long enough to give a clear indication of its results.

More soot, the wax making a mess with no discernible images, the energy was being blocked and trying to find a way to complete its task and not succeeding. Burning Dark, yeah. It does not appear to be working.

I would have tried it with either a freestanding candle or a figure candle put on an old plate, you would have gotten better results and more information based on how the candle would unfold.

Your chant is very good, I like it, so save it for future use it may work using a figure candle, but I do not sense that it worked in this instance.

I feel that your efforts did not work out.

      Bright Blessings,
      Ms. Q

    5. Dear Line,

In response to your 2nd comment~~~~

I usually do not do any kind of pyro divination with tea lights, they burn too short for my liking also the metal cups can affect the readings because the metal of those cups can affect the interaction of both the flame, oils, petition and wax.

That is why either a free-standing candle or glass enclosed candle (aka jar or novena type candles) are better, the tea lights burn only on an average of 4 hours far too short for any proper kind of candle ritual workings.

I think this is one of the problems I have with some (not all) people doing the workings, they expect results now, they want to know what is going to happen now, granted the tea lights are inexpensive especially if one is on a budget but you can get glass enclosed candles at a Dollar store or 99 cents store for a $1.39 or $1.99 and because they are longer burning without the metal affecting either the flame, wax or ritual oils you get a much truer reading on how the working is going, glass is clean, it’s pure (or as pure as the process making it goes). And less chance of fire. Tea lights are far too dangerous.

In my area, where some people have been doing the workings on their own, they’ve been using tea lights, and we’ve been having fires, damaging property fortunately no one has been hurt.

It seems to me from how things burned that Spirit was somewhat confused and just never had a chance to really do anything. Although overall it burned better but it’s like starting a car to go on a hundred mile trip but only having enough gas in the tank for 25 miles.

Too much soot, in some instances and the flame splitting and coming together gives the sense of confusion.

I recommend that you switch to a glass enclosed candle and re-do it at least it will burn for 3 to 7 days and you’ll get a better reading.

But if you are trying to bring someone to you, you should always get a reading to see if it will work.

I drew a card from tarot to see if you should proceed in doing this and the card I drew is the King of Cups but reversed, this tells me that it will not work as you are proceeding for now. That your target is actually trying to metaphorically “run away” your target has noticed you but has decided not to interact with you in any meaningful way.

I suggest that you write down what you’ve done and later on when the moon is new again try it again but with a figure candle, or a glass enclosed candle, not tea lights, not votives. You may get a far more accurate reading as well as results.

But read my article again on “Do Reconciliation spells work?” carefully it’s possible you are dealing with those same issues.

      Bright Blessings,

    6. Dearest Queen,

Thanks for telling me; I've let the spelling be. It's saved me time to not waste on the unsublime.
With you shall blessings be, all of utter glee which you deserve to see, and if any stress there be, I wish from which you're free.

With glass-cupped candles, I did a spell, but what went wrong? I can't tell.

First, I grounded myself as you've taught afore a spell lest spirits compel anything I'd naught. I prayed to Michael, Uriel, Gabriel, and Raphael to protect me from all directions, the North, South, East, and West; for Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth to protect me from all elements, I prayed to protect me from all harm, at all times, as I will it so it will be, for these angels to protect me from all enemies.
Also did I say for all negative energies and entities that are sent out to me be transformed by love and returned to them. For all negative thoughts sent out by me to be transformed by love and returned to me. I had four candles in four directions. I knew to walk clockwise.

I did my spell under the Church, but outside. Before the spell, I read the last three verses of Psalms 23.

I added some more candles and material and chanted before lighting. Unfortunately, it was really windy (even hard for me to enjoy fitness these days without having to fight forward) and put out my flames repeatedly. So I added rose oil to these candles, then had to anoint petitions with oil until I ran out of rose oil and added to these candles. This altered the spell I planned. I messed up the chant mid-spell and kept on going, perhaps chanting more times than necessary. A couple of candles were blown out by the wind, so I had to add red on one side, brown on the other side papers and light them. I chanted my petition and blew out the flames (I know that snuffing is preferred and I always do so, but for this spell, it is different). I would say that my concentration during the spell isn't top-notch, but I gave what I had. I had no fear (except a slight bit worried at some points that few people driving by the empty roads might be curious).

    7. Part II of the spell done on March 5th~

The South candle had a strong fire at the end; but let's not do favoritism as all candles had their times, flames kept ablaze.

I imagined my spirit guides as my late relatives, and with protection, it's helped me to not be afraid. I thought of everything as more of help than fear.

I don't want to accurately say much about my spell, lest others want to dabble and see.

It's been so long ago that I did this spell as a last case scenario; my chances of success otherwise are low and although this I know, my heart is slow in letting go. Sure, there's the option of a Black Walnut Bath (Black Walnuts sold around here), but I long for a possible aftermath, and that someone to hold dear.

The spell's supposed to manifest today, but it didn't. I timed it correctly. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel if it worked, but I sure didn't feel anything nor saw any results. I can wait for a couple of weeks and retry, but I am concerned about doing it on a waning moon. I always have the option of casting it in early April.

Most importantly, I don't know what I did wrong. I grounded and protected myself, unless I protected myself from acquiring any outcomes. I did it at Church because I believe that it would heighten my protection. I didn't see any spirits and all my big, petitioned flames were rocked by the wind, so it's not the best time for pyromancy. I know that I changed the original spell, but did I change it that much that nothing happened? This is not a spell that is to be done for 7 days and waited for a month to see results. It is a different spell from those I typically do. I yearn for insight, if there be any. I think my chances of success are anything but many.

I can leave things be, but also have the option of trying again in maybe a month to see.

Sweet dreams, here's to a life with peaches and creams.

    8. To answer your question:

Yes, I had a tarot card reading in regards to divination, but for an overall life reading. I am not sure of how accurate it was, but the psychic I went to had good ratings. Despite that, she couldn't guess my love status or that my daughter is an American Wirehair (yes, I love her enough to call her my daughter). One thing that I did credit her for is that she does not sugarcoat things, telling me what would and would not happen with my general hopes and plans in life. She talked about things that will happen in 7-10 years, so hopefully I will remember by then, when I would be out-of-state in prediction. She did not scam me like most psychics who try (okay, I was once scammed) to in random public places by approach.
Other psychics were more precise, but they always give false hope, making the future sound easier then it's come to be. But perhaps they want to put people at ease so they can recline and maybe eventually forget rather than leaving with an unsettling truth. But I always thought, if you tell people that anything is possible or don't speak of failure, they will reach their full potential, whether or not they fail, but if you say that they'll fail, a lot of people feel unmotivated to try. I surmise that's why schools these days keep encouraging and don't talk much of failure. People reach their full potential, and maybe even success, when they don't know the big possibility of failure. (About the schools' encouragement, sometimes it is because the better the children does, the better the school ranks; it can be for the sake of their reputation that they pressure kids to the point that I would question their concern for the kids' physical and psychological health.)

Back to the subject, I'd always wonder, did any of my spells affect my being of interest? Could they feel anything affecting them? A small thought of me?
If my being of interest noticed me, but did not step forward, is this because of any spell (1. Made the person notice me and/or 2. Did not step forward to act because there needs to be a balance in magic, but on a second thought, not reacting is most likely natural)? What did you mean that my being of interest is trying to avoid me? I know the obvious, but by that I meant to ask, do they feel or know that I am doing magic on them, thus resulting in their avoidance of me? (Yes, to better phrase the question.)

As for my glass-cupped candles spell, I am starting to think that maybe for it to work, I was supposed to have poor health, but because I protected myself, it didn't work and left me in the same health status so far. Like negative one plus positive one equals zero.

You did a manipulation spell many years ago? How did you protect yourself then? Was a witch bottle enough for you for that kind of spell you did back then? I am sure that you were more knowledgeable, even at a younger age, in regards to protection as you grew up with your Granny, Mom, and Granny's circle of rootworkers.
I am getting sleepy, so please do excuse my unappealing English in this reply which differs from the ones above.

    9. Dear Line,

Considering the weather conditions when you did the spell workings, I’d say it turned out neutral. With the weather conditions you were not able to focus on concentrate you would be defeating your efforts.

I’d give it a month until the moon phase is favorable again to do the spell. Calling upon your relatives as your spirit guides is a good move, and works to a certain extent but we don’t choose our guides they choose us. Read my 4 posts about spirit guides you can find it listed in the Archives.

When I used the word “avoidance” there are several meanings or situations in using this word, the b.i.o. could be aware of you but may feel that you are not part of the peer group that b.i.o. is in, (I’m thinking in terms of peer groups in high school or college, even clubs or organizations), b.i.o. may sense something happening but is either consciously or subconsciously pushing it away, almost as if one is swatting at a fly metaphorically speaking or b.i.o. is aware of you but is not, for whatever reason, into you.

If it’s the latter then you will have a very difficult road to work with.

In a way you’ve said it most correctly in your last sentence to me “….our emotions get ahead of ourselves and it surpasses(s) our reasoning in decision-making” This is where you need to stop and seriously think upon this, are you more invested in making this happen than the b.i.o., if you are then you will come against a metaphysical brick wall. His spirit guides and guardian angels will make sure that your b.i.o. stays on the life path that is right for the b.i.o.

So wait a month until the moon phase is correct and then try again, if it doesn’t work, then the b.i.o. is on a different life path and needs to follow it.

And No you are not supposed to be in poor health when you do the work, it takes too much life force out of you, leaves you open for negative energy to enter, makes you more ill. I never do a working if I feel ill or out of sorts I have to be in good health (or as good as possible for my age) and in the right frame of mind, that is important, even vital.

Now about protections, yes I had more than a witch bottle, I would set up tiny mirrors in my bedroom windows (when I was living at home) I used washes on my door frames and window frames, every 6 months at the change of the season I would do a complete smudging of my house and with it being 3 floors plus attic and basement that’s a lot, set up wards all kinds of things, if you read my sections on protection, shielding, wards/warding in my archives you’d understand the intensity one has to do, I have railroad spikes in all for corners of my property, when I was living at home I had a railroad spike behind my bedroom door. If you live with your parents or a roommate then the only room you can shield is your bedroom.

I wear blessed medals of the sacred hearts of Jesus and Mary, St. Michael, I wear a pin that is reflective, that it’s either a disk like design or has rhinestones that reflects the light, by wearing that reflects negativity, I have holy water at my front and back doors so if I leave the house for any length of time I bless myself leaving and returning. I have horse shoes over my front and back door, as well as fung shui mirrors to reflect evil back. I keep a decorative pot filled with pebbles, and plant succulents like donkey tails and Hen and Chicks, that forces spirits and vampires to have to count until the sun comes up.

If you read my postings and my replies to questions you’ll discover a lot of protections that I do that look decorative but are protective. You’d be surprised the efforts I have to take and yet make it look normal. No one thinks twice about a horse shoe over the front door, I think that gives you an idea of what I do to protect myself.

So wait a month then try again, if there is no result then either the “formula” is wrong or there is something else involved.

    10. Dear Lien,

I need to ask you something very serious here, and no rhymes or anything or verbally “dancing around the bush”

Is this “being of Interest” a human being or a spirit that you are trying to invoke and is the spell working for love or command.

I know you’ve been using rose oil so I’m presuming that it is a love working, but for you to do this in horrible weather and being near or next to a church almost seems as if you are trying to call a spirit.

If it is a spirit is this spirit of one who is deceased.

You say you don’t want anyone else to dabble in the type of spell work you’re doing, well that also leaves me in the dark as well, and makes it difficult for me to properly direct or caution you.

So I need for you to be forthcoming and accurate.

Now if I sound harsh or scolding I don’t mean to sound that way but I also don’t want to mis-direct you either. It’s for your own well-being.

Because with this type of weather one does not need to come down with pneumonia.

Because some types of spells can only be done during certain times of the year, what you’ve put together may be one of them.

You mention doing the Black Walnut bath to get this person out of your emotions, there are several ways of doing it but I do not advocate doing the one where you need to walk naked to a crossing.

And the problem with Black Walnuts is they can serious stain the skin, the tub, clothing, towels, it’s messy.

I am planning on posting my version of releasing and cutting off desiring someone. So watch for it.

      Bright Blessings,
      Ms. Q

    11. Dearest Queen,

This "being of interest" is a human being. The spell is as much about love as and as compelling as the "Tied Up and Nailed Figural candle". On a side question, do you know by any chance what happens and how a tied up candle affects two people?
I think my spell's compelling because it leaves little space for the b.o.i. to be the somewhat casual type if he is. Heartbreaks changes people, turns a number casual as a self-defense, not knowing what they're up against.

I didn't want my b.o.i. to come back as jealous or controlling, so my spell took care of that; perhaps THE silver lining to note of.

Your posts about spirit guides were interesting, no doubt. You sure know of them and about.

I did it under and outside of the Church because the Church's property was well lit and that place gave me comfort. No, it wasn't a Church's cemetery; I wouldn't.

More winds than rain. Light rain lately, and the winds have subdued. But when I casted, it was during a solely or mostly windy week. No fear for rain, but wind could sway one to refrain from pursuing anything of gain.

As for the "not part of the peer group", I agree. But peer group? The being of interest hasn't been attending high school since approximately 14 years ago and I don't miss the peer group segregation. I had a close-knit group of friends; I didn't have a circle of ten über-temporary friends at the same time.

Why the importance of giving it a month? I often see this advised by more experienced spellcasters, usually saying so that it won't confuse the metaphysical forces. What harm is it to cast it on an identical, but opposite moon phase in the same cycle?

In the spell, to almost give it away, I asked that the b.o.i. will be there for me, to lift my spirit when necessary.

I didn't call on my late relatives, but I imagined them as I asked for help.

How long does a spell typically last if not broken? Does that depends on what spell or just how life unfolds?

My response might be late, but your replies I did appreciate.

I always want to let others know
      Keep my advice:
Your luck may come back thrice,
so before you roll the dice,
      consider what you'll sacrifice.

      With this in mind,
      Good luck, be kind.

Not that I seem to take much of my advice, but there are spells that I know to never try messing with, such as the Intranquil. I have heard of so many tragic or destroyed aftermaths of curious casters. I don't know if it's stronger than their protections or what, but it's best to not risk it in my opinion.
Where their morals lie is cause by what desperation defies.

    12. Dear Line

This is Ms. Q’s niece, as you may be aware, she broke her ankle just a few days after you posted and before she had a chance to reply.

She said that it’s important to wait a month or from moon to moon (ie Full moon to full moon or new moon to new moon) it gives the spell time to work. Some spells such as protection may work right away but love spells or trying to draw someone to you takes longer, Ms. Q says that the difference is the first is a barrier or invisible wall which is objective, but the latter is trying to influence a person’s mind which is more subjective, but both do require work in the mundane as well as in the spiritual.

In one case for protection, if need be getting a restraining order or going to court. In the other case being around the person, engaging them in conversation and then slowly lead to flirtation. But does take time to see any sort of results.

Getting back to the moon phase it depends if it’s banishing or attracting, from new to full is for attraction, just a day after the full moon towards new moon is for banishing. Doing it on the full moon is when the energies are at their highest because the earth is trapped for a brief period of time between the Sun and the Moon, some workers or witches consider this a moon to do anything as its energies can be both positive as well as negative depending upon the spell’s intent, it is perfect when one needs a major boots, far more than when the moon is new or dark.

After the full moon it enters its waning phase and this phase is good to repel or banish things from one’s life.

So if you do it at a full moon to bring in and then repeat it at the new or dark moon (which is to banish or repel) the energy becomes confused, even if you are still trying to bring something in. It is one of the basic principles in spell casting.

Working with the ancestors or past relatives is always good, she has one that comes in and advises her on financial matters and always seems to “cue her” as to what to ask in regards to finance. So working with the relatives is always good.

Ms. Q advises that if by now the “Person of Interest” is still not being drawn to you to get a specific reading in regards just to that, a reader will ask of what area is of importance to you, so you need to say that you are trying to attract this person to you and want to know if your spell will work.

She says that if this person is not drawn to you by now, it’s best to let go and save your energy.

She also recommends this book “Moon Wisdom: Transform Your Life Using the Moon's Signs and Cycles” by Heather Roan Robbins to help guide you on using the moon phases when doing spell work, it can be found on Amazon.

About a “tied up candle” from her experience it bonds two people together but unless the love is mutual it can bring about disastrous results. Such as being tied to a person whom you find out is abusive.

  2. Hi Ms. Q

I would wish to seek your advice on reconciliation spell as my bf left me and asked me to move on, not to interrupt his life anymore. I am despair and will like to seek your help and advice.

    Thank you.

    1. My Dear,

      Please consider yourself lucky.

I know that is hard to accept because you are feeling the pains of rejection by your BF, but it is not you or anything you have done, if you stayed with him you would have been seriously hurt.

Trust me when I say to you that he did you a FAVOR, by breaking up with you. Now I hope you do not or have not had any children fathered by him, because if he has then you need to seek legal help to get child support, he cannot just go off.

But if your relationship is childless then he has done you a world of good.

You are now free to be you, to expand your world, your horizons, your abilities and talents, you would not have been able to do that if you stayed with him, he would have constrained you.

One of the best things one can do before doing a Reconciliation spell is to do a card reading to see if it is worth it.

Please read my post very carefully about this, it can save you a lot of grief as well as money.

So I did a one card reading for you and I drew the Nine of Swords (Cruelty), but reversed, indicates that you may have had the narrow avoidance of a death or other catastrophic loss.

What is needed here is for you to stop and objectively examine the reality of the situation. Bring yourself back to earth by working to reduce the impact of those fears and anxieties on your life.

Know that it is going to be ok, no matter what. Do not let this nightmare become your reality!

Take a deep breath and realize that life with him his leaving is not as bad as it seems and the more you worry, the more harm you are doing to yourself.

You will come to the realization that it is not as bad as you fear it to be, and you will begin to relax and calm yourself about what was once a terrifying situation.

When the reversed 9 of swords appears in a love context, you may need to give deep thought to what has happened in the relationship.

You may have come up against someone who is out for a good time, and nothing more - and who is practiced at telling people what they want to hear but doesn't follow through. Trust me this has happened more than once.

Stop "beating yourself up" about this, it could be interfering with your spiritual development. Whatever happened in the past is over now and there's nothing you can do to change it. Forgive yourself, if necessary.

You are not defined by the past or by any single action. Stop being your own worst critic.

Trust me when I say that he did you a favor, now you are free to be you, and there is a world of possibilities out there, of course it’s hard during the Holiday season but on this trust me you will find that you will be happier without him than with him.

Do a Honey Jar spell on yourself, to love yourself, to build yourself up to increase your positive aura and with that people will say “You Look FANTASTIC” and let it shine, don’t mope, don’t cry, put a smile on your face and say Hallelujah!! And enjoy all the magic that this season has to offer.

      Bright Blessings,

    3. My Dear,

I drew another card in regards to your question and I drew The Fool, but it was reversed.

That is not a good sign, it means that you would be foolish to hope for a reconciliation, he has gone his way, and sometimes it means that there is another woman in his life.

I’ve even tapped into my spirit guides and they say the same thing, he has gone onto another person or that there is someone that has appeared in his life and he wishes to pursue that.

You should not be fearful or have anxiety, I could understand that if you were going in for some tests or an exam, in the case of love it is mostly the feeling of being broken hearted. I’ve been there but I have found that after a few weeks, my job, my family and positive interests heal my heart.

When I review everything I realize how much my life was being controlled by another person, and once that person left and I was over feeling depressed, I began to realize I was better off. You should look to that as well.

Please do a Honey Jar Spell to help heal your heart and to bring in happiness into yourself without him, to see things clearly how much better off you are.

Better this than to catch him cheating on you. At least in that regard he was honest with you as painful as it was for the breakup.

It is indeed very sad that is over. I will try to move on. But once again thank you for all advices you had given to me. You are right. I had foolishly waiting for him even till today my heart had been constantly numb and pain. Frequently thoughts of suicidea that rationally i know this is not right.

However is really there is a hint chance, please please let me know. I willing to wait patiently.

    1. My Dear,

I drew a card for you on this and I had the 10 of pentacles reversed but the 10 of cups was attached to it but it was also reversed.

The 10 of cups reversed means a false love or infatuation, leading to a lack of fulfillment, it confirms that you were lucky to get out of that relationship

The 10 of pentacles reversed means Life is about taking chances, but don't take blind chances. when this card appears reversed, beware of people that talk a good game but are scammers, and that is what happened to you. Be thankful that you are out of this relationship.

Instead this is now a time to get out and meet people; you are likely to find that your good, upbeat energy is coming through you, and that people are naturally attracted to you.

So enjoy the social whirl that this Holiday season will bring to you. Live and Laugh, just enjoy things and life at this time, come summer someone new will come to you.

Now regarding these suicidal thoughts that you occasionally have, toss them out, why waste your life, why throw it away on someone who was not worthy of your love. And he was not worthy.

The Devine Presence has something wonderful in store for you, you have not yet reached your full potential, so pull yourself up and Live and Laugh at the world, it will get better.

If you have any doubts, do a Honey jar spell to heal yourself, and to help you love yourself. Because something good is coming to you, you will see in 6 months’ time.

what about when you were in a relationship with your best friend. living and loving life together and then a woman cones in and places spell on you to harm you and does a break up spell for you and your man.

I had readings done and have been working to get him back since may. and the readings say she did work on him... makes me even more determined and angry. I know he loves me. we've know each other for 11 years.
we are communicating more frequently now. but I am fighting to etc back the love we had

    1. My Dear,

The fact that the two of you are communicating sounds promising, but be careful of your anger against her, it could easily back fire on you.

One things that a numerologist friend of mine suggested is to use the power of 11:11 This does sound strange but twice a day at 11:11 a.m. and at 11:11 p.m. for one minute focus on what you want, say to yourself “I want my friend back in my life” over and over for that one minute, now this may take some time but it’s sort of like a mantra.

If you want you can light a special reconciliation candle for one minute to help you concentrate, you may see some positive changes, but it will take time, and it depends on the type of work this other woman has done, If you do not see any more forward action after 6 weeks, then have a reading done to see if there is the possibility of reconciliation, if it points towards no, then work on healing yourself.

I say that because one can only expend just so much energy, then one needs to take time to heal.

  6. Hi, Ms. Q,

I posted a brief comment in another strand, but this is probably the appropriate place for my questions. I'm really looking for a reading by someone I can trust regarding my ex and my son's father. It's complicated, no doubt. I'm pretty intuitive and while things have been tumultuous and contentious in the past, explosive even, we are in a really good place lately. The thing is that I never stopped loving him, and honestly, I don't think he stopped loving me either. We went through a lot and have known each other 20'years, but no matter what, we keep coming back to each other. But, like I said, the situation is complicated. He's married and has another child. But I just don't think they are happy? I don't see any signs. He rushed into it. It was all a mess. He was a mess. We were a mess. The situation was a mess. We've worked hard at getting it all out there and letting it all go. i just want to know what's really going on with all of it. Am I crazy?

If you'd be willing to do a reading, I'd surely appreciate it. I need someone else's take. I sense certain things and feel things strongly, by I would love to know what you're reading.

    Thank you!

    1. Dear Andalusia,

This is difficult as it’s not only you but your Ex and that you have a child together but now he’s married and with children with the other woman, but she not really the other woman she is also his current wife and we have to consider that.

No matter what someone’s feelings, emotions and state of existence is going to get hurt.

      The question is whose.

I drew a card from Tarot for guidance and I drew the Ace of Cups upright which is good but stuck to it was the Ten of Swords reversed (upside down) and that’s not good.

Your basic assessment that the whole thing is a mess is so correct, it is.

My feeling is that the Ten of Swords is your Ex, and what he is doing is delaying the inevitable and possibly making it even worse for everyone because he keeps trying to put off something that needs to happen anyway for everyone’s own personal transformation, such as this relationship.

It may have come to an end but you are both still intimate because neither of you cannot bear to let go.

This is only drawing out the pain much longer, and it is best to completely let go at this stage. It’s best to be good friends for the sake of the child and realize that.

Then and only then can he work out the problems with his current marriage and it may come forcefully and be very painful.

This must occur for there to be growth and regeneration. Despite the initial trauma and torment associated with this change, the imposed re-evaluation can be a very positive thing.

It’s possible for it to become a larger blended sort of relationship where your child gets to know their half sibling.

And rather than dwelling on the painful ending, it is important to look ahead and realize how these events free you up to completely reshape your life and choose a new direction for yourself.

Because for you there is the Ace of Cups and that means in the future there is the beginning of a period of strong emotional health for you. Expect copious joy, happiness, and love to surround you during this time.

Existing personal relationships may strengthen, and meaningful new ones are likely to form. It’s possible that marriage may be in your future, you are likely to lay the foundations for it during this time.

Through a chance meeting, there might be the start of a friendship or romance. Even though the difficulties you face in the future will take a toll on your emotions, but in the end, will bring about abundant joy. Remember this natural balance will bring you great rewards.

For you I see the possibility of a new relationship that will bring about a positive outcome.

In short the best thing the both of you can do is to let him work out the problems of his marriage, be friends for the sake of your child, and look forward to a future with a new person coming into your life, by clinging to the past relationship you are cutting yourself off from creating new ones, and short-circuiting your chance for true happiness.

As my Mama use to say “It’s time to end this Soap Opera and get on with life” as she’d turn off the T.V. and get back to what she was doing.

You and he need to do the same thing so that there is growth and renewal and a new outward look on life as each of you deal with your individual lives. This will be hard but you both have to do it.

      Bright Blessings,
      Ms. Q

  7. Thank you so much! I didn't want to write too much about what happened but we we would always go back and forth. We got together one night and I ended up pregnant. He had come to see me shortly after I got back from Scotland. He confessed his love and how hurt he'd been, etc, and that he wanted to try. I found out he was living with his now wife after the fact. When he found out I was pregnant, he decided to marry her and they both ignored me and my son for four years. She didn't support the relationship with his son. They didn't tell people. She got pregnant right away and they still had nothing to do with my son financially or otherwise. She wanted to pretend to have the perfect life and marriage and it was hard. The pain is from before.

I don't feel pain anymore. He and I are now coparebting successfully. My son has a relationship with his father and brother. His wife is never around. She didn't come to soccer games, to important events, nothing. They never do things together. And now I feel this growing bond between us. It's always been there but it feels like it's growing. I don't know. That's why I thought I was crazy.

I appreciate your feedback! I don't know what is happening or why now, but it is a messy thing. I'm focused on being a good mama and teacher. There is no drama there with him. We've been good friends for the better part of 20 years and I'm proud of what we are doing for our sons. Mine is five, his other is three.

I just think he's been checked out emotionally because he was afraid. He was always afraid of what everyone thought and he chose the safe hometown girl, ex girlfriend of one of his close friends. He never dealt with anything and now it's come back strong. I rose out of these ashes like a phoenix in many ways. But I still love him, that's true enough. :)

    2. Ms. Q,

You only mentioned using red ink in the second spell, but as for the rest, is it best to use red ink as well?

For the first spell, does it matter what color or kind of sugar I use? I have packets of Sugar in the Raw and red sugar. Should I use both or either or?

In the second spell, you said to use Van-van oil. I cannot find that around here quickly enough and ordering one means losing time, making goals farther from reach.
Is it okay to use another kind of oil or blend of oils? I have Rose Otto oil jojoba oil and Lavender oil.

I am anxious and eager to prepare both of these as soon as possible. The last day him and I were together in-person was, as of tomorrow, a month ago.

For the first spell, instead of a small glass bottle, can I use a mason jar?
1st spell^ - I would like to have a little tealight candle with a metal holder placed above my jar. How will that affect my spell? Will I have to bury it will the rest as well? And if I can do this, should I blow out the candle (when all's melted) or let the candle (hopefully) stop its flame?

Can I do two different spells in a day? Should I repeat the spell(s) for a certain consecutive period of time?

I have brown paper, tissue paper... Does it matter what kind or color paper I write on?

If I can put a candle on top of my mason jar for a reconciliation spell, should I smear it with an aromatic oil before lighting it?

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

      Happy Lunar New Year!

    3. Dear Lightninggale,

I'm going to answer this series of questions first and then I'll get to your other questions a little later.

So---Red Ink, Red Ink is used in love spells, Honey jar spells and reconciliation spells, getting my man back type spells. But black ink will work in a pinch.

Sugar is sugar you can use both together or separately.

Jojoba is a carrier oil, I would go with the Rose oil.

Since it was a month ago it depends on how much you remain on his mind, that is the undefinable portion of doing this.

You can use a mason jar.

Tealights----? You can use a tea light, it should not adversely affect your spell. No don’t bury the metal cup, put it into the recycling bin at your home. Do not blow the flame out use an old saucer to snuff it out.

Two spells~~~You can but it will be tiring, depending upon the spell, with a honey jar, the mixture is already there, just light the candle and pray over it. If you've done the one in which you've buried the jar, no, that one is done, the one with the paper and van-van oil repeat after 2 weeks.

Brown paper is perfect, just tear it into the size you need do not cut it with a scissors.

The only oil I put on the candle of your mason jar would be a “come to me “oil if you cannot get that oil, then pray over the candle and then put it on your jar, make sure it is anchored securely to the lid of the jar, you don’t want a fire to happen.

I hope this is of some help, I will address your other comments later.

And you have a Happy Lunar New Year as well!

    1. Dear Neymay30,

It’s always sad when one’s now ex leaves and is with someone else, the pain of them being happy while you are alone can become intolerable and now you miss him and feel that you still love him and now want him back.

I always ask first, why was there a break up? Did he have faults that you couldn’t stand, was he extremely controlling, did he have the same interests as you, did you feel you had to change yourself to meet his standards? Was he always a “player”? Now be honest (brutally honest) with yourself.

The reason why I ask these questions is that “The wanting is always greater than the having” meaning we can want something or someone so bad and be blinded to the negative aspects of it and then find that it was not what you expected or hoped for. So you do have to be realistic as well.

I did a one card reading on your situation, and the card I drew is King of Wands, but reversed, this means that it was the dark essence you were attracted to, maybe a bit exciting and reckless person but he inspired others to do irresponsible acts or behave irresponsibly.

He may have loved the chaos he causes, to him to take hold of destructive ideas and make them appealing to others he seemed to enjoy.

He may be charismatic and a bit intimidating, and has the skill to dupe others into doing things for him that are really not good.

In some ways a bit of a dashing and magnetic personality, appearing and disappearing with great suddenness, and leaving upheaval in his wake.

In the long run you really don’t want that.

So will he come back? The answer is “No”.

If he does come back it will be to only use you for his own purposes and you don’t want that.

In the long run it’s a good thing he is out of your life, once you understand that then you will be open to a lot of loving possibilities out there, yes it hurts for now, but do not cut yourself off from new opportunities.

Fix yourself up, smile, enjoy life, Spring is coming and with Spring is new life, not dead weight, so get out and enjoy yourself you have an entire world out there for you to enjoy.

Because if you stayed with him he would have squashed any individuality and creativity that you have, so his going to someone else, which he already had in the wings long before your break-up, well it was and is the best thing that could have happened to you.

So be happy and treat yourself to your own Valentine’s Day present like having a Spa day all your own.

      Bright Blessings,

  11. Ms. Q,
I have done my reconciliation spells earlier this week and have started on my honey jar today. The honey was leaking and I was carrying it on-the-go, so I placed paper towel (from the lab) around the lid and secured the top with a hair tie. I think this keeps the energy from wandering off (how correct is this? On a second thought, it looks like I am suffocating my jar/energy... hopefully not. It also looks like I gave the jar a ghost head) and keeps it from getting other irrelevant things sticky. It's hard to see clearly in the jar because of the diffusing cinnamon powder. And yes, I did get my magnets from a local hardware store. ^_^

    1. Dear Lightningale,

I'm trying to picture your honey jar with a "ghost Head" and the image is very amusing, very inventive to use a hair tie.

But I'd be careful with the paper towel especially when you burn a candle on top of the jar.

You may want to remove the paper towel and hair tie when you burn your candle and replace it with a fresh one.

One thing I think I should include on doing a Honey jar is you don't have to fill it to the very brim, to avoid leakage.

If you can find a very large plastic zip-lock bag, like to freeze foods you can put your jar into that to avoid the leaking honey from going all over everything. And just remove it when you burn your candle.

That's good that you got your magnets from the hardware store.

Now in 4 to 6 weeks you should see signs that he wants to come back to you, but if not, then you'll have your answer.

      Good Luck!

      Bright Blessings,

    1. Hello My Dear,

If you are doing a Honey jar to reconcile with your children’s father I am concerned that the wax started out as a heart but then mal-formed.

This tells me he doesn’t know what he wants and is instead playing the field or being a player.

I sense that his heart is not involved with anyone and could be emotionally “dead”.

I always advise before doing any magical workings to do a divination to see if it’s worth while doing the working.

In your case I did a one card reading for you and I drew the Four of Wands (Completion).

This means a chance to rest and rejoice, having successfully resolved a matter of great import. The initial success of a business venture or creative project. The blossoming of a friendship or romantic relationship. Conclusions drawn based on hard won experience. Spiritual, material, or emotional rewards for diligent effort. May suggest marriage, childbirth, or a victory celebration.

But stuck to it was the Lovers reversed, this second card then fell back into the deck.

This tells me that I do not see him making any effort to be in your life, he may make some little effort to be in his children’s life but I suggest to make sure about that is to take him to court to sue him for child support.

Make him responsible for bringing two children into the world, if his name is on their birth certificates then he needs to be responsible.

The 4 of wands tells me that someone new will eventually be coming into your life who may be far better for you and the children, but to go into the new relationship carefully.

So if you are going to do a Honey Jar, do it to heal yourself and open your heart to new possibilities in your life, plus take the children’s daddy to court for him to face up to his responsibilities, one cannot “sprinkle one’s seed” without paying the piper And he needs to pay up.

  13. PART I

    Dear Ms. Q,

I am so thankful to have come across your blog! I really enjoy reading your blog. I have learnt so much and I am actually interested in making a honey jar later this week! Although, stumbling upon this particular blog post made me have second thoughts.

Ex and I broke up exactly 3 months ago now. We were doing great and then all of a sudden he broke it off. Never gave me explanation or anything, he just told me that when he’s okay he will contact me. I still haven’t heard from him until now. Well, when he said he would call me one day to explain everything I didn’t expect anything. I know he wouldn’t do it, although he’s not the type of person who would break a promise, I just know deep down that he wouldn’t do it. For some reason when it comes to him I would always get vibes or feelings, it’s as if I know what he’s feeling or what he’s thinking, it’s like intuition, I’m not sure… am I making sense? So anyway, since he was the one who wanted to break up I thought why not just give it to him, who am I to stop him from leaving if he doesn’t want to stay anymore?

I mean yes, I tried to salvage our relationship but trying to save a relationship when you don’t know what’s really going on is just hard, I don’t know what I did or what he did that drove us to the finish line. But yes, I thought it’s time I let him go. After all he has the right to choose whether to stay or not. But in my heart there’s always been this strong belief that maybe it is the right person but wrong timing? That maybe he is the one. It’s just that the universe wants me to focus on other aspect of my life right now. I mean I still miss him to this day, and sometimes I would think of negative things to make myself angry but deep down I can’t get angry with him, I don’t know Ms. Q… After he left me without explanation I still can’t stay mad at him. My friends would often tell me things just to help me build that anger, it works but just temporarily. Sometimes I think I would rather be angry with him, I think it is my way of masking my true feelings for him. I thought I have moved on, trust me, I stopped thinking about him and my life got better and better, I’m on track with everything again, finally. Friends don’t need to visit me every single day to make sure I’m okay, parents went back to work, and people who are dear to me continued on with their lives knowing I’m okay now. I started eating again (and I’m gaining my weight back yaaaay!) and I’m sleeping better now too.

    (To be continued...)

  14. PART II
    Dear Ms. Q,

But this past few days I just keep thinking about him, again. Just wondering how he’s doing… About a month ago I heard he was in a new relationship— a mutual friend told me he posted it on Facebook, I checked to confirm, but weeks later it wasn’t there anymore… maybe it didn’t work out or maybe he put it on private since we’re not friends on Facebook anymore. I don’t know. But I also get this feeling that he put it on public (on purpose) for a while for me to see it. How did I come up with this conclusion? Because he is the type who wouldn’t post anything publicly. And he doesn’t do cheesy stuff like that, I know for sure. Sometimes I could still feel when he is sad although we don’t talk anymore, we don’t even see each other anymore. It’s like I could still sense his emotional energy even though we’re not in touch anymore.

So anyway, back to the topic, do reconciliation spells work? I appreciate your honesty. I agree with you Ms. Q, maybe it will work, maybe it will not. But I also believe that people come into your life for a reason. What if months and months after the break up you still can’t figure out the reason why they came into your life? Let’s say they came into your life to teach you a lesson, but what if you still don’t know what the lesson was? Honestly for me, I kind of understand why it had to end and I know better things are coming, but I also have this strong desire to make things right only if the universe would give us another chance.

I don’t know where to go from here; I haven’t done a divination, as I don’t know anyone who read tarot cards. Would you suggest trying the honey jar spell and see what happens?

And don’t worry, whatever the outcome may be, I can handle myself better now :)

    Thank you so much,
    Luftchloss

    1. Dear Luftchloss,

Sorry I’m so late in getting back to you, but if you read the posts that my niece put up I was healing from a seriously broken ankle.

My Dear, have you ever heard that song from “South Pacific” called “I’m gonna wash that man right out of my hair” ? Listen to it.

If he has not contacted you by now (4 months later after you’ve posted) then he’s not going to.

Part of the problem is you created a psychic bond with him and it would be best to break it off, part of it is you are psychically tuned to people, so it really should be with your parents and siblings (if you have any), later on with life when you eventually marry it should be with your children and husband.

So break the psychic bond with this former boyfriend.

You have the right outlook for this situation, but you still need to convince yourself even more.

      Keep at it.

If you want to do a Honey Jar do not do it for reconciliation, do it to find joy and true love in your life, don’t put a name to it---not his or anyone else’s---just say you want joy and happiness and true love and success to come to you, do it for your own spiritual healing and well-being. I recommend doing that.

      Bright Blessings,

He said he cant be with me if my mom is going to interfere invthe relationship and my mom doesnt like him. I love him and I really want to spend the rest of my life with him. Tried a come back to me spell with 7 pins in a red candle with his name on it. The pins fell crossing eachother. Is it a good or bad sign? And is there some other spell I can use to get him to get over whatever happened between himself and my mom. Please help me. Thank you in advance

    1. Hello there,

This is Ms. Q’s niece. Both Ms. Q and I apologize for the delay in getting back to you but she broke her ankle back in early March and is now beginning to be able to answer questions as best she can.

I read to her about your situation.

Ms. Q informed me that the pins crossing position is not a good sign, and that it was a warning to you, and that maybe Mother Knows Best.

Ms. Q said that if he truly loved you he would have married you no matter what your Mother said and then would work hard to try to win her over. That is true love.

He didn’t like the things your Mother said because they were the truth.

Your Mother on a spiritual level sensed something wasn’t right with him.

Ms. Q said that you should consider yourself most fortunate that your Mother was watching out for you and your welfare and should Bless her for it.

  16. Dear Ms. Q,

I had an emotional moment and broke up with my love about a month and a half ago. I told him I made a mistake breaking up with him and that I want him back but he refuses to see me or talk on the phone with me but he will text me. We used to talk 3 to 4 times a day so this new normal for us is really hard for me. We had been apart for about 12 years and recently reconnected. It was beautiful and we were really enjoying each other for 8 months but insecurities from my past popped up and caused me to break up with him without really thinking things through. I made a huge mistake because I have loved this man since I was 16 years old and we also have a daughter together. I want him back so badly but he won't hear me out. I asked him if he misses me and he said no. I'm not sure if he really does not miss me or if he's just hurt from my actions. I really messed up and have no clue how to fix it or if it can even be fixed. I did a honey jar and a reconciliation spell using my own words. I'm trying to stay positive using the law of attraction but it's hard to do when your heart is breaking. I had a reading and the cards said there was a small chance for us to get back together. Do you see anything in the cards for us?

    1. Hello Aneatra,

I’m sorry for taking so long getting back to you, but if you read my niece’s posts I’ve been and still am recovering from a broken ankle.

It is now June, if he has shown no interest in getting back with you with all the work you’ve done, then it’s not going to happen.

I drew a card for you and it is the 8 of Swords, this means that what you did to mess things up in reconciliation is most likely close to being permanent.

He doesn’t trust you, he may come around because the two of you have a daughter together but not much more. I really don’t see much hope at this time.

But I do see things getting better for you personally through interaction with a person who sees your talents and will encourage you to make use of them, I don’t know in what field but I think it might be dealing with finances, or banking.

So pull yourself together and think of yourself and your daughter first, put him, your ex, on the periphery of your life, heal yourself, this is a beautiful Summer coming, you don’t want to waste it moping around.

Take charge of your life and live it!

      Bright Blessings,

  17. Hi there,

I broke up with my girlfriend the end of January. (We are both women.) After that she wanted to stay very close. We tried but she was moving on sooner than I was, and I couldn't stay in that situation. Our relationship was 5 and a half months long, and we really connected. We could see ourselves being married and having kids. Our problems were that we often misunderstood each other and our own insecurities got in the way of our communication. It became a push and pull relationship, with me reaching out and her pulling away because that's what we were each taught growing up. March 11th, I cut off contact with her for about 20 days. She was very reluctant and sad, wanting us to stay very close and go on a road trip together to see her home in NOLA. I turned her down and tried to work on getting over her for those 2 or so weeks. We're now trying to be friends, and would eventually like to be very close again, but we are trying to take things slow so no one gets hurt, and so we don't begin fighting. My question is - would a spell of any kind rekindle our romantic relationship, especially if we deal with the issues we had before which were mainly concerned with our own self development? I can still see a life with her, even if I'm not distraught over our breakup as I was before. She also says she's moved on but that I'm not just like any of her other exes and she wants to be close - but that she doesn't want a relationship. She's not dating anyone but she is putting out feelers for other people , but doesn't want to date anyone now. She just thinks someone might work in the future. Also, at the moment she isn't interested in sex, mostly because of her intimacy issues. Is there any hope of a spell, whether reconciliation or a road opener to deal with our individual problems, working in this situation? We've already set the path to reconciliation platonically.

    Thank you

    1. Hello My Dear,

I would not do any spell work on her, as she seems to be trying to find herself to try and understand what she is really feeling.

It seems that she is trying to sort out a lot of personal issues in her mind, so trying to do spell work on her for romance would only confuse her more.

She’s putting out feelers for other people and yet she doesn’t want to date anyone now, tells me that she is having some confusion in her mind. Gaining clarity will be the best thing for her and for you.

I’d suggest that if you’re going to do spell work, do it not only for her but for you as well to gain clarity to understand and work with the issues that the both of you have been and are having.

Petition St. Clare of Assisi for clarity for the both of you, encourage your friend for the both of you to do meditation together, using a tape or CD recording to aid in guided meditation. Have a St. Clare candle burning while doing this.

She may say she doesn’t want a relationship but even just by being friends you both are in a “relationship”.

You are wise to take it slow with her, but don’t push (using magic) for romance, you have to allow her to gain her personal insight and you as well will also gain insight.

This will take time so be very patient as much as possible.

      Bright Blessings,

    1. Hello My Dear,

I’d have to say that you are doing the right things to see if he will come back to you, I also suggest that each time you know you’re going to see him to wear either “Cleo May” oil or “Follow Me Boy” oil (also known as “Follow Me” ) you can order that from Conjured Cardena or Lucky Mojo.

You can also burn a Hummingbird candle aka Chuparosa, for that on a piece of brown paper (torn from a paper bag) write the name of your husband and you, put a drop of Chuparosa oil on the four corners of the paper and one in the center, and put it under the candle, add a tiny drop of oil to the candle and then light the candle and say “Divine and beautiful Hummingbird, you enrich and glorify love, you who mates for life, I ask for your intercession through the Holy Spirit so that my love and I may share our lives together and he only want me and be honest and true”.

Repeat that prayer every evening while the candle burns, if you have to leave the house, snuff it out and then when you come back re-light it with the same prayer, never leave a lit candle un-attended and keep it out of reach from the children and curious pets.

I drew a card from Tarot for you and it was the Wheel of Fortune, but reversed this means that great changes are taking place as a result of earlier actions that cannot be taken back.

Luck is not on your side and its sending you into a tail spin and changing your world significantly, seemingly for the worst.

You will need to think on what can you do to improve your luck and regain control of your destiny.

Despite the setbacks, learn from the cycle of life and be prepared for such ups and downs in the future. Accept responsibility for your current and future situation, and look for ways that you can create more positive outcomes.

The reversed Wheel of Fortune also reflects resistance to change, particularly if change is being forced upon you.

The appearance of this card suggests that change has become a source of significant stress for you and you may be trying to consciously or subconsciously stop events from running their course.

This is also not a time to be taking risks. You may need to be more cautious than before, taking more time to assess your options and to select the safest bet.

He may or may not come back to you, so for now be friendly for the sake of the children but be prepared for changes in your life, things will not be the same as before. But do wear the Cleo Mae or Follow Me Boy oil to at least keep him coming around and aiding you financially, and suggest marriage counseling to him to see if there is a way to repair the situation or to get to the core of why did he leave.

I will have you in my prayer circle.

      Bright Blessings,

Personally I do hope he comes back to you, you are a good woman and deserve happiness in your life.

I think he will be around for the children's sake, but be prepared for some life changes for yourself.

Try to think positive and think of going on a new adventure in your life. Sometimes things like this happen so that you can have some serious life experience growth.

Either way I will have you in my prayer circle.

  21. Hi!

So, about four months ago an old friend and I got into an argument. I was dating someone and even though he knew this my "friend" would send me late night messages telling me he loved me and missed me- we've never in all our years of knowing each other ever been together. It was beginning to make me uncomfortable so I politely asked him to stop. He got snippy with me but agreed to stop and I never heard from him again. He dabbled in magic and I have a VERY strong hunch he threw some negativity my way. My boyfriend and I were getting ready to hit our 11mth anniversary (the 20th) and he randomly ended things last night, he even apologized for the suddenness of it. We've talked about the future, he's spoken about me traveling with him, he talked about his dream goals of still being with me two years from now (I had asked where he saw himself in two years), so the break up was sudden. I don't understand it. I feel like my "friend" is the reason behind it but I'm not certain. I want to try a reconciliation spell or a honey jar and was wondering your thoughts. Thank you!

    1. Hello My Dear,

That is sad, not quite a year and then suddenly he’s out the door.

I drew a card from Tarot to see if your “friend” was behind the breakup and I drew The Star, reversed, this means lost hopes, doubt and failure. Physical health and mental outlook lost in the outer darkness. Desperation leading to blind faith in false solutions.

It means that If your “friend” did do magical workings on the both of you it was through a form of mental distortion ie jealousy, the fact that your “friend” in a way was stalking you with those late night messages, obviously hints at an obsession.

But IF he did do any magic (especially out of spite) as you said he only “dabbles” in it, which means that if he wanted to do something serious it would have been a far more violent break up if he was very proficient in his workings.

But his magic could not have worked on something that wasn’t there. Meaning that if your boyfriend truly loved you the magic would not have worked, but it’s possible that the person you were dating had subconscious thoughts about breaking up especially when you put the “2 year” question to him, he may have had doubts about what he goals really had and when faced with reality, he may have suddenly realize that his goals were indeed different than what he told you and any magic brought those doubts and realizations forward, and showed him to be the “coward” he is when truly faced with reality, at least he had the decency to apologize even if it did hurt your heart.

Next I wanted to see if it would be worth it for you to do a Honey Jar or some sort of Reconciliation work and I drew the Five of Cups which means disappointment, suffering a loss and wishing for what might have been. Being crippled by sadness, grief, and possibly vain regret and ignoring what you still have. Obviously it does indicate a broken relationship.

This means that it would not be worth it to do any spell work to get him back, if his heart is true he will come back on his own. So this is a test of faith on your part.

Take a deep breath and release him and see what happens. Remember the image of the 5 of cups shows 3 cups fallen over, but the person is ignoring the 2 full cups that are behind him, which means there are other opportunities out there for you, but most certainly not the “friend” .

The five of cups also indicates other possibilities, the card indicates hope amidst sadness.

There are still two cups standing. This indicates a hope for the future. In the image beyond the person there is a river, this is a symbol of all things moving on, remember life moves on. The bridge and town in the background mean that there will be other times and places for life to go on, far away from your current misery. This means there are other, even better opportunities out there.

Now about your “friend”, I would not trust him ever again, especially if he is obsessed with you. And I suggest you get a St. Michael medal to wear to shield you from any future magic he might try.

Look in my archives section regarding Protection, protection spells, wards, shielding.

Now dry your tears, put up your psychic shields, fix up your face and smile, wear your nicest clothes, it's Summer where we are so get out there and know that there is someone even better out there for you.

      Bright Blessings,
      Ms. Q

  22. Thank you so much for your speedy reply! My ex and I have a wedding to go to together in 3 months, we'll be spending two nights and 3 days together. After your reading it's going to be difficult for me to enjoy the wedding. I was hoping when it got here we would just kinda realize how much we miss one another. I know he's busy juggling life right now so I was hoping if my "friend" hadn't been behind it then once he got his life straight I'd be first on his mind. I'll try to dust myself off and move on but I'll be honest, until the wedding passes I'm not sure how to do that. Thank you for your help and utter disappointment lol. I appreciate you taking the time to do a reading. Thanks so much!

    1. Hello My Dear,

Remember that I said that the 5 of cups although it means "disappointment" it also means hope, because it is a test of your faith.

It also means a test of your courage. So the possibility of your ex-boyfriend being there with you at this wedding, could re-kindle things.

      So don't be too disappointed.

If your ex-boyfriend still has feelings for you---well let's just see what happens.

Allow life right now to move on and if you'd like, you could burn a pink candle for love, with your ex-boyfriends name carved into it.

Each night as you re-light it, think of him and whisper "Remember Me." Meditate on him, and visualize him in your mind, especially when he was most romantic with you. Do this for at least 15 minutes each night.

Do this for at least a week, or as long as the candle lasts.

And don't forget the St. Michael medal.

      Bright Blessings,
      Ms. Q

  24. Hello,

About two weeks ago my boyfriend and I broke up. Life just got in the way. He's working multiple jobs, I'm sleeping when he's awake and he's sleeping when I'm working. We really care about each other, we've been together nearly a year but we just couldn't handle all the obstacles any more. We spoke about marriage a handful of times, traveling together. I can see a future with us, a family, everything. My heart hurts without him. I started a honey jar last week to try and bring us back together. I know they take time to manifest though which is what's killing me. I need him to see that just because there are obstacles between us like timing, our situation isn't impossible. Do you have any suggestions or could you possibly do reading for me?

    Thank you for your time.

    1. Hello My Dear,

My Father was a baker, which meant he worked nights and slept days, it was hard on my Mother but she learned to cope with it and work a schedule around his working hours, they would time things when they could talk about major decisions on repairs, buying a car, etc.

She handled the bills, making payments, balancing the check book, in a way they were like a business, and she was very, Very careful when it came to handling finances.

Dad trusted her but she would not make a major decision without having a conference with him, they worked as a team, but they had been dating for 3 years before Dad asked her to marry him.

They managed to have their days off together, which helped in doing that which needed to be done, they didn’t take trips because their focus was on family, repairs on the house, and doing very simple things together, Mom didn’t drive a car, so it was hard on her especially with several children to care for, so public transportation most of the time was the norm.

You and your boyfriend had only been together for just under a year and now you’ve broke up, it appears that neither of you could work it out.

My Dear you and your boyfriend had a long ways to go to even Think about marriage, even your contradicting work schedules were working against you and yet You were planning a life together before the two of you have figured out this initial problem as well as developing greater trust.

As my Daddy use to say “Isn’t that putting the cart before the horse?” Meaning were you putting the idea of Marriage before working out the problems first.

      You understand what I’m saying.

First you need to remove the love stardust from your eyes and face reality and its not a pretty picture.

Doing a Honey Jar is fine, but let’s see what the Spirit Guides are saying.

I’ve drawn a card from Tarot and the card I drew is The Magician, but reversed, this means self-deceptions and uncertainty. A lack of will power. A fatal flaw in a great work or purpose.

Chances are when it appears in this way in a reading that there is a sense of doubt in the air, with the lack of direction or feelings of inadequacy. This doubt is warranted because it indicates indecisiveness, chances are there was something missing, whether it was knowledge, a clearly defined goal or the tools needed to make it work.

In love and romance, the Magician reversed indicates a number of things and most of them aren’t good.

You needed to question the true reality of everything. To dig deeper. Anxieties and insecurities are likely founded. With this card in the reversed position it shows a lack of direction for stability or overall happiness.

Even with the Honey Jar, unless you and your former boyfriend could work things out, the relationship didn’t and at this time doesn't stand a chance of working out.

And it takes work and a true commitment from BOTH of you to make it work. If you were willing and he wasn’t, then it appears to be a good thing that you two broke up.

If you want to continue to work on the Honey Jar to see if there is the possibility of working things out then go ahead, there is always the hope of 2nd chances, but both of you will have a lot of hard work ahead and it will be a test for both of you.

      Bright Blessings,
      Ms. Q

    3. You are welcome my dear.

I hope that maybe it might work out for you, but remember you are in a "big ocean" and there are a lot of opportunities in it to find the right one for you.
